BMSPL Mission Statement
The Bradford Men's Slo-Pitch League (BMSPL) was founded for the express purpose of providing a safe and friendly venue to enjoy the game of Slo-Pitch. The spirit of fair play, sportsmanship and respect for fellow players and opponents shall be the guiding principles by which the games shall be played and the league shall be governed. The enjoyment of participation and fellowship with all members of the league will take precedence over winning or losing; this is considered to be a "recreational" league. We will dedicate ourselves as a league to achieve the highest possible standards of fraternity and enjoyment for each and every one of our members.
About Our League
We belong to the National Slowpitch Association (NSA)
All players and teams must be registered through NSA and attached to their respective teams by their Team Rep prior to gameplay.
Our league typically accepts only full team registration but as of 2022, we began offering a limited number of individual player spots to be registered and added to existing teams through the online NSA portal.
Our season is played from May until October and includes a final playoff weekend
Games are played on Tuesday and Wednesday evenings at the Joe Magani Diamonds and typically in the 830pm and 945pm time slots
Teams will typically play on either evening with doubleheaders and or back to back games on some weeks
League fees include balls, umpires, scorebooks and lightbox keys
Teams supply their own matching jerseys that must be worn during gameplay
All games and rescheduled games must be completed prior to the playoffs
All team Reps will have voting privilege
