Minutes From March 27^th 1^st REP Meeting

Topics Discussed:

• Season overview including dates and tournament info and total team - right now we expect 10 teams but we would like 12.  We talked about the need to share the league with friends and groups we belong to and get the word out that we are accepting both full teams and individual players.
• Keys for box Option to go to combo lock-To Be Discussed further at the next meeting April 11th 8pm
• Keys for lightboxes – Ryan has master to be copied and handed out to all REPS at the season start
• Diamond space - let's discuss with Donny a hard cap so we can start at 830 sharp-We will continue to use Tuesday – Diamonds 1-3 and Wednesday Diamonds 1 -3 830 and 945 slots
• Umpire - No shorting diamond times or game finishes and we discussed the possibility of covering the cost of making sure all umpires have official SPO jerseys for in-game and that they look the part.
• Sponsorship - do we want to seek new sponsors, or should we hear Perfect Szn and see what they have and then go from there. -TBD and we are open to suggestions from REPS and will discuss them at the next meeting.
• Which reps have locked in individual players-From the Facebook group once a player has been contacted and taken the league is to be notified.
• Is a tournament possible?  Do we table it? Let's discuss? Would SPO help? Brought up by Jordan and he would support putting one together. Mid-season and open to other leagues and teams to come in.  TBD
• Possible Revenue Drivers-Tournament, end of the season or mid-season and TBD
• Individual spares are encouraged – We discussed the possibility of having a group of spares that would be pooled and pay the league directly.  They would be available to all teams and would play as requested. --TBD cost per player make a list and they are available to every guy. Open to discussion and framework - need to know players' calibre
• Rules and roster rules are discussed and reminded all on the website.

• Finances – League is currently setting up new banking with Marcus and Faraz taking on the responsibility. The current balance is roughly $4350 in the bank.  The only existing cost not covered to date was a bill for last season’s final tournament – Darren said he would get that paid. The cost was/is roughly $550.
• Balls are ordered and bases are taken care of.  Homeplate boards will be checked in a few weeks to make certain they are in good shape.
