1st Upper Board Meeting 2022

1. Diamonds - Ryan is awaiting the general email from Teresa regarding the time and date of the annual meeting (Sometime post March Break) for the diamond space. We will be requesting the similar allotment that we have had in the past with Tuesday/Wednesday and usage of all 3 diamonds in the 830 and 945 slots.
On a side note, we are under the impression that the new diamond #5 at Magani will be up and running by July.
The season is due to begin the week of May 23rd and will end with the final weekend of play on Sept 30-October 2nd
2. Balls - Have been ordered and no update on this order at the time of the meeting. Ordered them through Bellamy, the same as last year. Keys for lockers will be provided to new teams and to those who require one. Also, Ryan has the master light key which will be distributed the same as last year.
3. Banking Update - The league has between $6-7K in the bank and will be making some changes as of March 2022 to reflect the passing of Dan Wyman. Updates to follow. There is only one outstanding bill which is for the final tournament weekend from last season and will be handled by Darren in the week to follow.
We will also be making a potential change to our bank as we shop for best needs in terms of fees and banking options for non-profit entities.
4. League Costs-Right now as of March 13th we are hoping to keep team costs at $1650 but this will be determined in finality once we know the diamond costs from Ryan.
UIC - We are going to be asking Art to run the Umpires again this season with one change which will be updated uniforms.
5. Brewers, Dodgers, Misfits, Rockets. Draft Picks, Cubs are all confirmed- We have also brought in a brand new team to be named. Outstanding are Dan Riddel, Marcel and Vito/Cerrone. We will be sending out advertisements through Facebook for individual players as well as team entries.
6. 1st REP Meeting will be on March 27th at Perfect Szn back room @ 8pm.
